Getting started with the PromoCat CMS

The back end, also known as CMS (Content Management System), is where you manage your entire webshop. This includes editing categories, products, quotes and orders. In short, everything you need to keep your webshop running smoothly.

A CMS can look complicated, but with our explanation you'll quickly find your way. Make sure you're logged in. Usually the URL is something like 'cms.jouwdomein.nl'.

Getting started with the basic settings

Now that your webshop is live, it's important to configure and check the basic settings properly. To do this well, we have the following step-by-step guide:

  1. Setting a margin and minimum purchase quantity on product prices: Make sure you make a profit by setting margins.

  2. Setting a margin on imprint prices and setup costs: Take into account extra costs for imprints and setup costs.

  3. Checking PDF settings: Make sure your quotes and order confirmations look tidy.

  4. Setting up shipping costs: Set up shipping costs so customers know where they stand.
