How to enable payments via Mollie on your PromoCat webshop

Mollie allows you to process payments in your webshop easily and securely, offering popular payment methods such as iDEAL, credit cards, and PayPal. Below, we explain step-by-step how to set up Mollie.

Important requirements

To use Mollie, your webshop must meet the following requirements:

• Terms and Conditions in checkout: Customers must agree by checking a box.
• Terms and Conditions must include:
  • Chamber of Commerce or KBO registration number.
  • VAT number (if applicable).
  • Business address and contact options (phone/email).
• Webshop information:
  • Clear product/service descriptions.
  • Shipping methods and return policy.

How to link Mollie to your webshop?

1. Create a Mollie account via Mollie.com.
2. Add a website profile to your Mollie account
   For more details, see the: https://help.mollie.com/hc/en-us/articles/212613429-Can-I-add-or-change-a-website-profile.
   After activating your website profile and receiving approval, you will get a Mollie API key.
3. In your PromoCat CMS (Back-end), navigate to "Settings".
   
4. Open the "Payment Methods" tab.
   
5. Expand "Mollie".
   
6. Fill in the desired payment option label text.
7. Fill in your Mollie API-Key.
8. Click on "Save and continue".
